Kristen Ling was born in East Tennessee, where she spent her childhood immersed in creating fictional worlds. From the moment she learned to write, she was stapling pages together and crafting hundreds of little books, especially during the summers at her grandmother's house. Dreaming up characters and narratives became her favorite pastime.
